Flicks and Pieces has hit its first birthday! Since its humble beginnings back in September 2014, over 30, 000 visitors have flocked to, stumbled upon, and been forcibly prodded into viewing the ramblings of little old me – a big thank you to you all!

I started Flicks and Pieces as a way to discuss films, television and gaming with other lovers of these mediums, and over the past year I’ve had the chance to natter with many friendly fellow bloggers; in particular the following delightful folks who have taken the time to read and comment regularly, and whose blogs you should most certainly take a gander at, follow, share and say hello to the proprietors of:

So what’s next for Flicks and Pieces? It’s time to up the ante! In the coming year my hope is that I can cover even more films and TV shows, big and small. I’ve had the pleasure of playing a small part in spreading the word on some excellent indie films and I’ll be looking to keep my eyes peeled for further up and coming filmmaking talent to get behind. On the other end of the scale, Flicks and Pieces has also afforded me the opportunity to interview award winning filmmakers, attend premieres and work with other writers to discuss topics that I’m passionate about. Year two of Flicks and Pieces will be about gearing up on all fronts, whilst in true Rocky montage fashion getting stronger, more powerful, and more emotional….or something like that.
