Filled with obnoxious teens and slasher movie cliches, Happy Death Day still somehow ends up being smarter than the sum of its parts. Groundhog Day with added murder, the cyclical narrative unfolds with a macabre sense of tongue-in-cheek fun and cutting wit. Yet another solid entry into the Blumhouse Productions filmography.
