Update:
Voting for the UK Blog Awards 2016 has now closed – many thanks to all who voted!
******************************************************************

Voting for the UK Blog Awards 2016 is now open! The UK Blog Awards are an annual celebration of the best blogging that Blighty has to offer, and once more little ol’ Flicks and Pieces is throwing its name into the hat for your consideration.
The competition is, of course, incredibly strong, but to (mis)quote Bill Shakespeare, “though Flicks and Pieces be but little, it is fierce”.
Competing in the Arts and Culture category there’s likely to be several hundred entrants, with only the top 10 voted blogs heading through to the final round….needless to say, Flicks and Pieces is going to need a little bit of (read: lots of) help from all you lovely folks to make getting through the public vote a possibility.
Here’s how the voting works:
- Click the link here (or the UK Blog Awards image above) to head over to the Flicks and Pieces voting page.
- Scroll down to ‘Vote Now’, enter your full name and email address, select the ‘Arts and Culture’ category from the drop down menu and submit.
- Voilà, your vote has been cast! You’ll receive a confirmation email, as well as the deep, personal gratification that comes with voting for Flicks and Pieces.
You can vote once per day using your phone, tablet, or desktop, with the same email address allowed for each daily vote. Votes by carrier pigeon will not be counted.
So what does a vote for Flicks and Pieces mean? A great deal! Besides having my eternal gratitude, it will mean that this little (but fierce) blog has a chance of standing amongst the big boys of British blogging royalty, and it’s a chance to help spread the word of a relative newbie in the world of blogging.
So join BB-8, and give Flicks and Pieces the thumbs up in the UK Blog Awards 2016!

Voting is open from Monday 4th January 2016 until Monday 25th January 2016 at 9pm.
