Acclaimed director Justin Kurzel’s Macbeth is on its way, starring Michael Fassbender (X-Men: First Class) in the lead role, with Marion Cotillard as Lady Macbeth. In the lead up to the film’s release on October 2nd, two spectacular new posters featuring the aforementioned duo have been released:

Macbeth is based on the classic Shakespeare tragedy, and described as a “visually breath-taking retelling of the classic tale about an ambitious Scottish lord who seizes the throne with the help of his wife.”
